It's the strangest mercury lamp I've ever seen, the filament goes into incandescence and then surrounds itself with a greenish plasma of very striking glow, which makes you want to look at how beautiful it looks, but its radiation does damage to the eyesight and skin, I don't recommend looking at it or getting close to the skin, you feel the smell of ozone around it, it really is a miniature germicidal UVC mercury lamp, I made it run in series with a 5uF 400V capacitor, for 220V it is advisable to use a 4.2uF capacitor. If it is connected directly to the grid the lamp is destroyed.

Product as described. Please do not forget to include a ballast when using these bulbs on 115-230 volts lest the immediately burn out. A series 6.8 uF capacitor with, a parallel to capacitor, bleeder resistor of about 100 Kohm will work for 115 volts.

the product was not delivered with clear 220 volt connection instructions that is, what kind of capacitor I will need to connect to the circuit for the lamp to work. the result was that I had to destroy one bulb and have to search hard enough to find what kind of capacitor I need to connect yet.

I will have to order another unfortunately I didn’t have the correct lamp and fried it by frankensteining a different lamp to try to fit it in
