These are going in my emergency first aid kit and my EDC, as yes, I have been known to need something like this once in a blue moon, and trust me these can come in handy in major emergencies while camping, and getting to a safe place and awaiting emergency crews. The suture is pretty long, but it tends to detaches from the needle. Thus you can not us the full length of the suture unless you pull directly on the filament instead of on the needle. Otherwise it is pretty similar to real suture I'm use to.
