Hi Everyone, I have received my 16 line 4D laser level yesterday. I'll make some review about the device and its accessories. First, the manual has no relevant information about the correct use of the accessories. I had to look after Internet photos of similar devices to understand the use of each accessory. The plastics seem to be strong. The adjustment knobs are made of alluminum and give precise positioning for the laser level rotation, lateral displacement or inclination. The small swivel suport (tripod round base) that accompanies the device gives precise rotation position either, but the laser device's aluminum square base inlay nut is displaced from the center of this part, causing the device to tip over if no care is taken by the operator. The one I've got has 3 fixed feet, which do no permit good center of mass adjustment of the set. A more secure operation of the laser "cube" is to install its aluminun base screwed on appropriate tripod, such as those used with cameras or those designed to be used with laser levels. Another base that does not present any attachment screw or socket for the aluminum base of the laser device is the height adjustable plastic base. The only existing screw is used to elevate/retract vertical position. Some similar lift holders are made of aluminum; the one I have acquired is made of plastics, such as the controlling screw. Its surface presents some grooves, but, as I said, no attachment mechanism to join both the elevating base and the aluminum laser level base exists. In the same way, attention is necessary to avoid this base to inclinate and tear down or slip the laser level. I intend to paste some round silicon adhesives ou rubber to prevent slip of the aluminun base when necessary. Although these troubles, the 4D laser level device seems to be robust and I'm still testing it in my construction areas. Thaks. Regards.
