Have been using these for a few months now for mobile discos and karaoke parties and coupled with a smoke machine they work pretty decently. It is useful to be able to change the speed of the strobes for different types of music, but the only downside to them is the plastic bracket. These hang from a light stand and the plastic bracket for attaching is not as sturdy as it could be...but at under $10 these are great fun for occasional use.
