Благодаря "MAX7219", модулями легко управлять (для Arduino есть готовые библиотеки). Возможно подключение модулей каскадом. Удобно для поделок.

I bought a single module locally with the same price. This SKU is for two modules, so it's half the price. However, there are some minor scratches on the surface on the matrix but does not affect the function. The one I bought locally comes with a protective film on the LED matrix itself, so it protects the surface until user peel it off.

Hi there I have assembled this module with a temperature controlled soldering iron keeping in mind the MAX 7219, you can do it with a normal 25 W iron too but be careful on the PCB tracks The PCB quality is too good and you can rig up your circuit and you are ready to go ! thanks

I received these dot matrix displays very quickly however both displays had bent connectors (not in the Post, I guess they were already bent in stock) and not just slightly bent. The displays themselves were hardly attached to their connectors but luckily their pins weren't bent ! After some "surgery", I could attach the supplied cables to the connectors. The displays work fine. Actually I have 3 displays (this kit of two and another one from a previous order) and they're all hooked in cascade to an Arduino Nano (or occasionally to a UNO). I used one of the many examples found on the net (Parola is worth trying). Up to eight of these displays can be used with the libraries I found. I haven't looked at the MAX7219 datasheet (BTW they're not original ICs on the PCB) so I can't say if it is a limitation of the chip itself. It would be a big plus if the IC was hidden underneath the display to keep the footprint minimal and connectors of the male/female type on each side so they could be chained more easily. As it is, in the final implementation I'll have to remove the connectors and solder new ones underneath. Overall I'm satisfied with these displays. I wish they also came in other colors but red.
