This arrived in a well packed black foam bed with the razor protected by wax paper. The box even has some simple, yet welcomed, instructions along with contact information of USTAR. First impressions are the nice weight from the metal base and milled aluminum break. The edges are very sharp and accurate plus the rounded divots are perfect for making grab handles or curves in soft metal wire. When the clamp is down a steel pin makes certain it will not change angles and has a tremendously firm hold. So much so that some care has to be taken not to crush any ultra fine details, i.e. photo etched rivets. While some rubber tabs need to be added to help keep it secure on your desk, mine stayed put without them and was easier to spin around when I wanted. After loosening the break with the razor for the first time the spring popped to life and worked extremely smooth. The shaft has zero wobble and lines up precisely with the placement pin. If there was a rating higher than 5 this product would be getting it. Awesome product, fantastic price and incredible delivery time!!!
