This EDPM foam strip is great for sealing small gaps around doors and windows. I already bought some locally for twice the price to seal my front door. This product seems just as good, and in both cases, much better than brush strips at managing draughts. I will be buying more to have spare, though I don't think I will need to replace it for a few years. Now that winter has arrived I have used it to seal draughty gaps in my windows. My windows are double glazed, but with the new seal it is quite amazing how much quieter it seems. This particular E strip is suited for gaps 4mm and under. When I first fitted the strip to the frame of my front door I had a little difficulty shutting the door but with time it has compressed to 1mm in the tightest spots whilst maintaining good seal elsewhere. For larger gaps I would suggest using P or D profile strip.

I ordered to use as an outside door joint, thinking it would be as thick as the old seal. No such luck, this one is much thinner and would not fill the gap I had to work with. It would still do a great job IF your gap is minimal. The 'rubber' is a bit odd, but workable. The adhesive holds fine as well. I ended up using this product to separate a glass bowl sink from a cut out ceramic counter top. This way the bowl does not rest directly unto the ceramic. Perfect, down to the colour. It's wonderful when things work themselves out, eh ? So a great buy, but not for my original purpose.

i use rubber seal for doors also windows frames. its help to reduce the noise from outside so you can live a quiet and comfortable enviroment. its easy for apply on a door or windows you can cut it and than to install on door dont requires specialist tool.
