Very much a toy and it doesn't retain the correct tuning, but bought as a gift for someone who can't play, so it didn't really matter.

Looks good but doesn't tune or play very well. Haven't yet gifted it to the grandies and aren't sure what they will think but I suspect they may be disappointed that it nowhere near a real stringed instrument. Sure they'll have fun with it though.
