Working like expekted

In my living room, I have a quite wide sofa/couch. Behind the head cushion, there is the frame that is little bit lower than the cushion. The frame is against the wall so I placed 5 of these tiles (6th wouldn't fit anymore) side by side conveniently on top of the frame to absorb the noises that might bounce of the wall, as my TV and large active monitors are couple of meters in front of the coach. I've noticed the difference! The sound is more "damped", meaning, echoes are reduced and especially high pitch tones don't differentiate so much anymore. Depending on the preference, one might like the "cavey" echo or not but I think the sound is more precise now than before. So I do really like it and these tiles made a difference, so I can recommend them for dampening unwanted/excess frequencies.

I think it's good for my use but the edges are not perfect so professionnals may not be fully happy but for that price I think it's good.
