Amazing 11 day delivery from BG. Delivery times seem to be getting quicker and quicker- excellent. The little unit arrived with the pot socket on the board a bit bent but otherwise all was well. Must admit I was a bit confused by the fact that there were only two connection points and no labeling to say what went where. Other regulator boards seemed to all have three or four connections and these were labeled as IN, OUT and Common or Live in, Neutral in, Live out and Neutral out. In the end I figured the two connections had to be live in and out and since they weren't labeled it maybe didn't matter which was which. I hooked up a 100watt bulb using the left connector (nearest the heatsink upstand) for live in and the other for live out. Plugged in and stood back and switched on. No bang and turning the pot gave full range of brightness on the bulb-phew! Only slight niggle is that the first third of pot range does nothing with all the action coming after this 'dead' zone. I'll try on other loads and if necessary change the pot for a smaller value to get an even spread of power. All in all my first impression is very good and this module seems to be excellent value for money.

Works fine for incandescent lamps and heaters etc. All load that are more orless resistive. Very high efficiency (99%). Tested up until 3850 W. Works fine for hours (not becoming to hot). For real use still needs a housing !
