Been running the AET H743 Basic in a long-range fixed-wing FPV build and, honestly,I didnt expect this much from a €47.73 package. Mine came as the full set with GPS Fapple V4 airspeed sensor.__In actual use,the FC has been rock solid. The H743 has loads of headroom and the dual IMUs,baro and fast ublox m10g GPS lock have all been very stable. Im running ArduPlane with EKF3,GPS navigation,airspeed/TECS,RTL,Loiter,waypoint missions, geofencing and full autonomous flights, and so far it just does its job without drama. The Fapple gives really good airspeed data and makes the TECS side of things much more predictable.__Setup was easy as well. If youve used ArduPilot or INAV before, theres really nothing difficult about it.__The only thing Im not a huge fan of is the Fapple V4s shape. It works, but its a bit awkward to mount as it too short, and unfortunately there dont seem to be any proper 3D files available to print a cleaner, better fitting mount/enclosure yourself, one with a longer pitot for cleaner air speed numbers.__A big surprise was AETs support. I emailed them with some questions and got a proper response within 12 hours, including documentation, firmware versions and pre configured settings. Thats honestly way better support than I expected, and better than Ive experienced with some more established brands like Matek.__For €47.73 in sale, this is a ridiculous amount of hardware and capability. Definitely buying more AET FCs when they hit a good sale price again.
