I've used a lot of multi-meters over my years as a bench technician doing electronic repairs and as a field technician troubleshooting and repairing data lines. For the price point, this meter is obviously not designed to be used for any specialized reasons. However, as a tool to measure standard electrical readings, it is sufficient. The multimeter seemed to be designed with some ergonomics in mind... Simply it feels good in my hands. The dial and buttons have a nice tactile feel to them also. Most impressively is the screen, it's brightness and size in particular. It's my favorite among its other good qualities as a budget meter. As a budget meter though I imagine dropping it from 5 feet (1.52M) onto a hard surface will likely break the housing or throw the calibration off. I also don't expect the leads to last the lifetime of the meter either. They feel thinner than most, most likely because the gauge of the conductor is smaller but also the thickness of the insulation isn't as thick. Not built for daily use for sure, but if used for household needs every so often, I think this meter will last a while. Good value for the price!
