Great multimeter with incredible specs. Unafortunatelly, it doesn´t met all. (Fails measuring: Resistance: 500-900K ohm Capacitancie: <5nF ) This multimeter has specs like FLUKES over 200 euros. Here is a calibration results of mine. All standards are trazable to NIST or ROA Labs. Equipment used: FLUKE 5500A FLUKE 5790A FLUKE 5700 WAVETEK 9500b + 9530 AGILENT 5071A All measurements have been done in the signal laboratory of INTA. Pros: Almost all ranges Works as spected Small size. Great visibility. Cons: The plastic case material looks weak Not all the ranges met specs. Very good multimeter with many functions and a lot of accessories. I compared it with a HP 34401A table multimeter and the precision of the ANENG AN8009 is very good. I am satisfied and I recommend it.

This is successor of highly praised AN8008 multimeter. Compared to previous version I think only difference is addition of thermocouple probe. - NCV too sensitive trigger also with DC (doc say only AC) including 30cm away my laptop computer and beep sound kill the hears - internal fuse size is very unusual short size I guess hard to find spare parts - difficult to rotate the selector with one hand when it has its back holder opened do no stick to desk - view angle is short upper view (see second photo) - back holder is weak piece of plastic bag afraid to break it - user manual written with too small font size

This is a very nice MM for hobbyist. It has everything you need. The only downside I'd have to say is that the autoranging takes time to settle down and the continuity tester doesn't beep every time n misses it at times. But overall it's amazing! Worth it.
