L'utilisation du premier, d'une TRÈS grande marque de NAS, a duré deux petites années, en cause, l'utilisation conjointe d'un "minuscule" processeur associé à une ROM et une RAM toutes aussi minuscules ont eu raison de mon TERRIBLE choix, car le prix, lui, était à la hauteur de cette TRÈS grande marque : Astronomique comparé à celui de mon Aoostar actuel. Pourquoi une durée d'utilisation si courte ? Simple : Obsolescence programmée ! Voici comment : Le MICRO processeur, la MICRO ROM et la MICRO RAM face aux "mises à jour de sécurité" d'un système "propriétaire" ont fini par rendre l'appareil obsolète. L'extrême lenteur de mon ancien NAS a fini par ne plus pouvoir fonctionner à une vitesse "convenable" ou d'utiliser un appareil sans défense face aux attaques : Poubelle. Cet Aoostar avec son CPU puissant sa RAM imposante et son SSD titanesque, alliés à TrueNAS, système LIBRE, GRATUIT, PUISSANT et ÉVOLUTIF me permettent d'envisager l'avenir sereinement.
