Disassembly revealed that it was a torn ferrite magnetic antenna. I combined the two stations into one, glad that I have hands and a soldering iron. As a bonus, I received two external temperature sensors, which is also nice. And in general - the Russians are jerks, glory to Ukraine!

Станция пришла с разбитым LCD экраном. После открытия спора, продавец согласился на бесплатную замену. Вторая станция пришла с чем-то гремящим внутри корпуса. Разборка показала, что это оторвавшаяся ферритовая магнитная антенна. Из двух станций собрал одну, благо руки и паяльник имеют место быть. Как бонус получил два внешних датчика температуры, что тоже неплохо. А вообще - русня пидары, пыня куйло, слава Украине!

Extra sensor for the weather station. Has a switch inside to set it as sensor 1, 2 or 3, which makes it easy to deploy three with one weather station. Uses two AA batteries. Set the frequency to a unique number you are not already using and then turn the weather station off and then turn it on again and the new sensor gets detected. Very simple.
