This is American and is compatible with 100 to 130 volts so you need a transformer as well as an adapter if you want to use in anywhere in the world. Would have been better if it could operate from 100 to 240 volts like the European USB chargers. If you use an adapter only and plug it in to a 220 or 240 power supply like here in New Zealand it will be destroyed and could start a fire. Should have warnings with it.
