it is not bad for the money. steering and throttle are NOT proportional so just be aware. still fun for around the house and good for kids.

apoormarksman Andymp3 . . . Speed control IS proportional, (there is a slightly trimmable pot) but only the first 15% ? of the trigger movement does this, and difficult to hold steady enough . . . otherwise 100% power. That's a pity, not much better than what you thought. Took my handset to bits to see if I can get more subtle control but I am not an electrician and no mechanical options that I could see. Car much too quick to avoid damaging it as it is, but speed sells. External aerial is solid and a dummy. In this I see potential for creating a steering power unit on a Poundland helium balloon. . .
