I wasn't sure how this would look as a replacement for a 40 watt incandescent candelabra bulb in a chandelier. It looks just fine and gives plenty of light so I will be buying 6 of them to replace the bulbs in two chandeliers as soon as they are back in stock. My one chandelier is very high and difficult to reach so this bulb is a great improvement over a "long-life" incandescent bulb which lasts about 2000 hours before it is expected to burn out and need replacement..
