Was not too impressed with this CD/DVD burner. Can only eject disks while plugged into computer/burner software.

Purchased to replace a short-lived Samsung USB DVD drive, I was pleasantly surprised with this unit. It blends nicely beside my Apple MacBook Air, MacOS is happy with it and it functions perfectly so far - ripping audio from CD into iTunes at 9x speed. The insert and eject mechanism is a little noisy but it doesn't damage the media. The cable is short but long enough for desktop use and is easily extended for other purposes.

Really Plug and Play and as nice as an Apple (but so much cheaper)! Still need to see how it burns DVD but it reads DVD and audio CD flawlessly, a bit noisy, though.

Купил для своего баребона (микрокомпьютера). Отлично работает. Прикольно засасывает и выбрасывает диски. Абсолютный нонейм - но работает ведь!

Works flawlessly with my Macbook. Nice design very like the original Apple DVD/CD readerwriter A little rougher in the mechanical sound mating in and out, but no functional problems
