0-30dB attenuation is achievable manually by rotating potentiometer shaft. Display does not work in this mode. Suitable software needed to digitally control attenuation and probably for display to work. 3.3 or 5 volt supply required via USB-C socket required even for manual operation. Tested using attenuator on input to my SDR radio receiver and observing change in signal strength. A version without display would have been sufficient for my needs.
