There are several types being sold here. THESE are the ones I much prefer, as they do not "latch", they sound when the voltage drops to set level, but they reset for further measurement as soon as the voltage recovers, such as say after a power pump. This is a great advantage as I use them on freestyle Quads in the air connected to the balance port, where they are plenty loud enough to be heard at distance, much louder than the on board buzzer of most quads, and the brief warning gives indication

The latest batch have less secure cases, be warned and secure the halves better than they do! (Still the best tester/Alarm out there though!)
