I have tested this little switch-mode buck PSU and the specified data is very excessive. I ordered them to make a distributed grid for all my LED strips that I have up to 6 meters from the controller to the farthest strips and will provide them with unregulated 20-22V. My tests show that consumption above 1A will "burn" the little guy. Test Conditions: Input 21.3V, output 11V / 1A provides a temperature above 80 degrees (measured 84.1 degrees Celsius (54 degrees above ambient, after 2 minutes of operation) which is far above what I would allow in my own designs)

Works as intended. We have a stable output voltage with a wide range of input voltages. You must be careful that the minimum input voltage is 2 volts above the output voltage or you will notice a overshoot in the output. Does not work well as regulator from 5V to 3.3V because of this.

This tiny little converter is really amazing, very affordable yet fully functional. Once input is 1..1,5v above output it keeps the output steady regardless input variations, even bigger ones. Only downside is difficulty to convert 5v down to 3,3v. For some reason could not set that specific combination: 3,0v and 3,7v both were okay but nothing in between worked when input was around 5v. For any other use this is an excellent product.

I bought 3 of these and i am not disappointed basic switching Converter , can be used in many applications form RC to DIY electronics The Voltage adjustent is not very precise as someone already pointed out but with a bit of patience and a very small screwdriver (tiny movements ) you get close to the desired output

I bought this for a 5 -> 3.3v step down, but can't get it stable above 3.0v. Below 3.0 is fine but the moment I go even a tiny bit above 3 it goes beserk. Two units I bought were exactly the same. I had much better results with SKU089888.
