I got the black version. Solid construction Clean machining. I love a flashlight that resist a little when you go to screw/unscrew it. Like it has to fight the air pressure. No metal on metal feel, and a silent twist of the tail cap. I like the ramp up/down of the UI, I also like that it blinks at the top and bottom of the brightness scale. The light is super bright and has a good throw, while allowing the right amount of light to spill over for some flooding. Never owned this brand, but will look at another. K
