I've tested this device with three mobile devices (two tablets and one phone) with good results for the RX-mode allowing these devices to send audio to non-bluetooth speakers/amplifiers. So the RX-mode is fine. But I've also tested this device with three different stereo bluetooth headsets, using the TX-mode to allow my non-bluetooth TV set to send audio to the bluetooth headset in use, and the results of these tests were quite bad. With one of these high-quality headsets (a "Creative WP350") it was never possible to achieve bluetooth pairing,despite many attempts. With the other two headsets (an AudioTechnica "ATH-ANC40BT" and a Jabra "Halo Smart") pairing did work but with sporadic failures and one unacceptable problem affecting all connection attempts. This problem is that in TX-mode this device treats each reconnection to an earlier paired headset/headphone as a brand-new pairing session, which is NOT what those devices were designed for, which is why reconnection almost always fails and requires multiple re-pairing attempts. So switching from one headset to another (as needed when batteries need recharge) is a process likely to consume several minutes, all due to the faulty pairing method. In short: RX-mode works fine, but TX-mode needs the pairing process to be recoded. Because of the broken TX-mode pairing method I will not be able to use the device for my intended purpose.

    I also had similar issues with another KN321 device on TX.
    1. They claim to be dual link, but I can hardly pair one device
    2. When I turn off the headset it rarely reconnects again (stays on blink/pair)
    3. no info on how to clear the pairing on the device
