simply excellent, locally I did not find anything like it at a price so accessible. Installation is as simple as any electrical outlet. The only problem, all the instructions are in Chinese. My recommendation, including some video that explains what each function in English and Chinese.

I picked up a couple of these because, well, I thought they were neat looking and thought I'd give them a shot. I particularly liked that they could be adjusted for time as well as the level of ambient lighting. Who wants the lights to come on for six minutes during the day when it's all nice and sunny? Ok, maybe in a dim happy or something. Anyhow, let me first say that they do indeed work and work just fine. But, there are two issues potential buyers need to be aware of. First, the mounting holes do not line up correctly a standard US electrical box, unless you mounted your box sideways, which may be against building code anyhow. You'll need to use anchors in the other four holes at each corner to keep the switch mounted to the wall. The second issue should be somewhat obvious - none of the directions are in English. So you will need to fiddle with the timer knobs to figure out which is which before securing the switch to the wall. For testing, I used a couple of lamps as well as a flood light, and both units I purchased worked flawlessly each and every time. I'm planning to wire one of them up in the garage so that it kicks on the overhead lights as soon as I walk in, which should have me hunting around for the switch in the dark (it's ~5ft from the door, go figure).
