The KingKong 90GT quadcopter has been hugely successful. There are a ton of people that have owned and modified them. But now Kingkong has come out with two new generations of brushless micro drones. The Kingkong 95gt and the Kingkong 110gt. They are very similar but the Kingkong 110GT is basically a 3 inch drone so I decided to give that a shot. It flies REALLY well right out of the box. But there are some power issues. I install some XT30 connectors to try and resolve it with mixed results. See the full video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV7KC-umunA

+ really small compared to my previous 500 + mm quadrocopter + very powerful to its size + 2s 3s + BNF package + RC range 400m + + very stable flight + very durable construction, nothing drops due to weight when dropping + widescreen FPV video into glasses - missing OSD and beep! = no voltage controll. A big problem. Without that quadrocopter is unusable! - LED illumination missing - The quadrocopter is not visible in the dark - only 25mW FPV, only liner FPV antenna = range max 200m - the propeller destroys the FPV antenna (need to fix the antenna position) - Quadrocopter can not be upgraded to quality video due to size (such as Runcam Split) - FPV video drops to full power - just a balance connector as a power supply My Mods: + 200mW FPV transmitter VTX2 + circular polarized antenna + Cyclops 3 DVR camera (720p microSD record) + microOSD due to voltage control + additional LED strip (red and white) + XT30 power connector + 800mAh 2S battery (40g), flight time over 8min

I like kingkong very much. I have bought both kk90gt and 110gt and have the same issues with dsm2 receiver. From ebay they sent me another dsm2 receiver for 90gt that I bought but there is the same issue of dropouts like kk110gt that I bought from banggood.I change receivers in both drones with flysky receivers and the range is better now without falling from the sky.I think dsm2 receivers are faulty .In the beginning was ok both but after 10 to 15 times of flying start issues in both drones..I thought that the problem was in devo7e but when I am flying eachine lizard with dsm2 I dont have any issue of dropouts.I bought the drones with dsm2 because in devo 7e there is timer so it helps alot whenyou are flying kk110gt and kk90gt without osd in both drones .In eachine i6 transmitter there was not a timer but I update firmware and now there is timer :) .Anyway kk110gt despite dsm2 issue is a winner.

You should have seen the smile on my face when I did my first punch with this guy. Absolute ripper! Bind and fly worked straight out of the box. Very smooth flying!

This is a great quad but be aware all this PNP nonsense I could not get any sense out of this quad the tx wouldn't communicate with the Rx "dsmx" So be prepared to down load Clean Flight free on your PC and set up your quad from here if you have a non communicating rx tx situation just go back to port setting and make sure you have selected correctly you'll probably need to calibrate the Esc's too but all easy enjoy . I thought I had a dud tx or Rx took me hours to figure .

this mini quad is so fun to fly out of the box talk about hang time 😎 and fast and tuned very well out of the box ! the only problem with mine is when doing a long punchout the video will go black until you lower the throttle! I had seen a few reviews about this quad so I ordered some XT30 battery ends and some 65c rated batts to fix the blackout on punchout! but for the performance of this quad out of the box and how much fun it is to fly the blackout isn't a big deal it can be fixed and to be honest if your racing or fly around a lot of stuff there is no need to go full throttle this thing is so light and powerful it's like flying my 220 x with 1300 4cell ! I am totally impressed with this quad I would recommend to anyone looking at a brushless micro 😎👍
