A generally well-designed analogue multimeter. With an accuracy around 3%, it's not truly "precision," but precision analogues cost more than ten times as much. When you receive the unit, replace the batteries immediately! To replace the batteries, "peel" the yellow rubber cover off the meter and flip it over -- there's two Philips-type screws on the back which must be removed to pop the case open. The meter did not come with a printed manual and I've been unable to find a manual online, but operation is straightforward. There's no "off/on" switch, just the selector switch for ranges and the zero ohms adjustment wheel above and to the right of the selector switch. The ohms adjust feature "drifts" a little when using it (set the selector to the "ohms x1" range when doing this, which is also the range you use for continuity testing; unfortunately, while adjusting for zero ohms, the continuity beeper will be operating continuously, which is annoying but not a deal-breaker). When not using the meter, get in the habit of setting the selector to the 500VDC or AC range, to prevent accidentally/forgetfully using the meter to measure a high voltage the next time while having the selector on a low-voltage range.
