I was impressed with the quality of these flashlights we bought to help guide kids through a haunted house. They are extremely bright and most of the casing is metal, not plastic so they are well built. But the best feature is the telescoping beam adjustment it narrows the beam so well that I was able to shine it on my fence 50 feet away and still the beam was just about 24" across and when spread it makes a very nice diffuse light from a distance.
