You won't be disappointed by this kit. Not only does it have excellent video quality, but this frequency range reduces the impact of many things that impede a good 5.8 GHz feed, like trees, buildings, etc. In this frequency range, you can expect better rejection of interference from the aforementioned objects, but it is also quite compact, especially if you remove it from the heavy metal case, which doubles a s heat sink. You will, of course, have to replace that heat sink capability, but that shouldn't represent any problem for the savvy tinker or maker. Any small CPU or motherboard or video card chipset heat sink will do, as long as it fits. This transmitter *will* get hot, however, if you don't do this properly, and it *will* fail if you don't heat sink it properly. So, be forewarned, and forearmed. Happy flying!
