works well on the bags I tested it on..quicker than I thought, if you do bags of the soft clear plastic.. food snap lock type.. 1sec is enough any longer it still seals but burns a hole tougher plastics but the area around the burnt hole is sealed still..so its trial and error to get it right till you get more experience
