Plane is listed as for a 2 cell...It is to small and flimsy to handle the weight of a 2 cell setup HOWEVER Installing the electronics/motor from an old Parkzone/Eflight UMX plane results in a little jewel that is a blast fly indoors and its combination of flexibility/ lite weight make it nearly indestructible Repackage this as a single cell airframe and you would sell a bunch

Packaging: Bagged in a cardboard box. Great! Content: Slightly different from the manual, there's no fiberglass motor mount and pin hinges (blenderm tape was substituted instead). No problem though. Basic construction was not difficult using superglue and hotglue. I hotglued WLToys' geared propeller and motor, WLToys' receiver board and a 1.9gm aileron servo onto the top surface. I hotglued a strip of Velcro at the bottom starboard side to mount the 1S cell to balance out the model in 3 dimensions. I didn't follow the manual strictly, but construction, assembly and basic setting up will take time anyway regardless of kit. Without battery, my model weighed in empty at about 37 gm including all the pushrods and horns. I wanted to use 150mah flight batteries, but as the ordered cells had not arrived from Banggood, I used my 3 years old 250mah (AUW about 46gm) and my newer 520mah cells (for WLToys V977 heli) (AUW about 56gm). Even with the heavier 520mah cell, it can hover but it has no reserve punch. Some 250mah cells were better. I can only imagine it would fly even better with the soon to arrive 150mah cells. I have crashed it many times and it is still flyable because it is light and flexible. I think using the brushed geared motor with a low pitch 5.25" propeller is a good choice for this model and the WLToys parts are light enough for this model. The model flies slowly. I don't have a suitable indoor place to fly and flew outdoors during calm weather (and occasional gusts). Ignore the blue pants in the photo, they were too fragile and since removed.

Very brisk little acrobatic model aircraft. For beginners I recommend reducing the range of all flaps.
