I'm using this module with a Raspberry PI B+ in order to have a NTP Stratum 1 server. With the integrated antenna I can't detect satellites but with an external antenna on SMA port it's good (9 detected, 8 used). I'm using too the PPS output and it's working fine.

It's an excellent module (I've bought more of it) that has built in antenna (that works after soldering a capacitor) but best used with external antenna. I use the 1pps signal to provide very precise time reference. Highly recommended by me for this.

Arrived very well packed and unharmed. The built in antenna is also pretty good in my (suburban) area (works even indoor close to a window), however it needs a capacitor marked C2 (the only one not soldered) soldered. (I've used a ~100pF ceramic one, since I've found no guidance what value to use). This means that this is not for beginners (since it requires good soldering skills/station, good eyesight/magnifier unless one settles for external antenna only, which is in my view not required for outdoors). So to the designer: It would be better to create a variant where every component is soldered and solder pad can connect the internal antenna or jumper or even better if microswitch. I had trouble to get the ucenter working with Windows, no trouble with Linux (with Wine). Strange...

Excellent functionality, usb, TTL and 1PPS, as well an option for an external antenna. Only drawback - if you want to use the internal antena you have to alter the device... Should be automatic.
