Received in working order. Switched it one without charging and it worked fine. Left it on window ledge to charge up.

I bought this lamp to replace a small lamp I use. The old lamp was powered by 4xAA cells. The usage was low and being led I had the batteries in a long time and it rotted. This lamp is better not having to use batteries that can decay. It is brighter, has the torch function and USB port. I have charged it up and it works well and is a bright torch and lantern. I am hoping that the solar cell will keep the battery topped up. For the UK market a good quality 3 pin plug lead, for charging it, would be a good idea. Positives in summary are: Good lighting, no rotting batteries, durable quality.
