Looks like I expected. For a looong distance serial low speed data transmission over paired telephone wires, longer than any Wifi coverage. A bit hard to find converter to attch to an old RS232 serial port or like at modest 9600 bits/sec.

I had issues with this particular unit after trying to use it with a PZEM-015, it seems to required VCC pin on the A/B side. Overall the quality is good - just unfortunate I can’t use it.
