I connected my new Samsung TV to my 35 year old amplifier (Toslink to RCA) and it has a great sound quality BUT the only way to adjust the volume is directly through the amplifier. So, if your amplifier does not have a remote control then you shouldn't buy this product but a DAC with its own remote controller.

I had problem with my existing decoder. It couses volume lost when use it. I had a problem with another brand's product. There was a decrease in the sound when I used it. But this product does what it has to do. The sound problem is gone.

It worked immediately well with no issues and it is pretty easy to use. I am using it to connect the smartTV audio with a very old amplifier and it sounds pretty good.

Conectei minha TV ao amplificador já velhinho. O produto gerou uma ótima qualidade de som, com graves bem marcados, me impressionou. O controle do volume passou a ser realizado no amplificador, não podendo mais ser controlado pela TV.
