I feel deceived, in the advertisement it said that the anemometer was aluminum, it's totally plastic. I want to return it and have my money back

The anemometer is not made of aluminium as mentioned in the description, it is still of good quality. comes in a cardboard with a instructions in Chinese. possible to find a youtube video by searching for sensor qs-fs001 in english. remains to be tested...

Delivery was ok, it works fine. The cables are: brown for 5V, black for GND, blue for analog signal.

the plastig breaks more easy as the aluminium types , but it will do the job for a while 0-5V range for out put of 0-30mtr/sec range / disadvantage of this type it will need 12V supply extra or a "small boost print" adding cost accuracy of the censor is 0.1mtr/sec not 1mtr/sec accuracy of the 10 bits is 30/1024 =0.03mtr/sec so much better ( so sensor acuracy is deciding for the total) best for the internet of things is a supply and range would be 3.3V for the esp8266 one will need a pot meter as divider reducing 5V output to 1V for esp 32 and others one will need a pot meter as divider reducing 5V output to 3.3V for atmel -arduino one can use the 5V

The product came with no instruction. Dismantle to figure out the pin outon bas. Colours of cable didn't match wires inside so had to tone out cable to determine pin out on that. not pleased at all. Don't go by start rating

No aluminum to be found anywhere, the rotor head was slightly bent and the sensor inside had actually come loose. After fixing and working out the wiring, actually pretty good. Note: operation by 12V on brown wire, 0 on black, blue wire returns 0 - 5 V output based on rotation speed.

Item looks ok, except there is absolutely no aluminium to be seen anywhere, the entire thing is plastic, I only hope it lasts in our roaring winds, time will tell.
