SGR90708 This will probably be overkill for CNC 3018 pro. It will be too big for that CNC.

SGR90708 I don't know how many decibels. But in my experience it is surprisingly quiet. Most of the noise is from the fan, probably because of the vertical fan blades.

Q: Can I connect the Red and Black/+ - cables on the speed controller to Mach3 or GRBL ?

SGR90708 You cannot connect it directly. It is recommended to use the speed controller provided with it.

SGR90708 Unfortunately there is no rpm display available for DC motors. Since this one is a DC motor. Not sure about the X-axis support for 3018 pro.
