Q: What is diameter of the hollow?

Asked by ooeia on 2021-03-14 05:41:45

Johnny_B_Goode Thecellulose sponge holder recess (hollow) is 68.5mm in diameter which just happens to nicely match the diameter of the Daniu wire wool tip cleaner with a small elastic band stretched around its base to provide a snug and secure fit into the sponge holder recess.

Johnny_B_Goode Isee this has already been answered. This submission clears this question off the list of questions that BG seem to think I can answer in spite of all the time that has gone by since it was asked.

Q: Does it worked with HDD motors?

Asked by SafiyanykVolody on 2018-11-23 14:47:32

Johnny_B_Goode Yesbut as I'm sure you may already be aware, it depends on how you intend to use those BLDC motors. I can imagine several ways to interface the Nano 3 to a BLDC motor but since I have no immediate plans for such a project and your question has most likely already been answered, I won't attempt to second guess what you're trying to achieve and offer any specifics. The only reason I'm bothering to submit a reply is simply to remove it from my questions list.

Q: How to control the output?

Asked by mizrahi.ido on 2019-09-06 13:53:24

Johnny_B_Goode As has already been mentioned, it has been preset to 5v with a 39KR resistor placed where the trimpot would have been fitted for the "Adj" option (something I only discovered a couple of days ago). If you want to use the bridge links to set the indicated voltage options you need to remove this resistor from the board at the top right hand side when viewed with the header holes lowermost (same side as the 6R8 inductor). As far as I could see when I started using it for the very first time in the 3 months since I'd bought it, none of these links had been bridged, including the "Adj" one. All were open. I had to remove that resistor before I could get the voltage options to correspond with their marked values. Unfortunately, I managed to burn out the tiny chip marked JWBV045F in a DMM probing accident on mine which seems to be variously known as EV5017S_S0_R0 aka JW5017S ( I've downloaded 3 or 4 datasheets which all seem to be describing the same 6 pin 1.2A rated buck converter chip). There's no point in my replacing the burnt out chip since I can buy another complete module for just £1.02 (or even less in larger quantities) anyway. If there was any chance of finding one amongst my PC motherboard scrap pile, I'd have a go at doing the repair just for the Hell of it. I rather doubt I'd be so lucky in this case. I've already recovered the two larger ceramic caps (23 and 25 μF voltage unkown, possibly as high as 25v since one is across the input term
