I Recieved the Topshak 5000W Unit today. It‘s huge, so I think it’s powerful. Build Quality looks decent. The manual says it can handle 10000W for a short time. If that’s true that would be great, because I thought the 5000W is the max rating and it’s really just a 2500W unit. The cables are 16mm^2 which is very thin for 5000W. Considering it’s a 12V circuit at 5000W there’s 417 Amps. (Amps=Watt/Volt) For 417 Amps you would need a 185mm^2 cable (around 11,5 times bigger diameter than the provided cable) according to a table by the Association of German Electricians. I use 35mm^2 cables because I only want to use 1500W. The manual says that they recommend 1,5m long cables but they don’t say anything about the diameter. This is dangerous because a lot of people will install it on their own instead of letting an electrician do the job Even if they are not allowed to, because it doesn’t come with a plug. At least the manual says that the unit should be grounded. I think the unit will provide the power I need, and it’s Good value for money, but the cables and the manual on the wiring is a minus for me. The manual also says that connected devices can consume up to 10 times more Watts than their rating in the first seconds so if you want to connect a drill for example with more than 1000w rating, the unit might not handle it. TLDR Use 35 or better 50mm^2 cables, Ground the Unit properly, Don’t expect everything over 1000w to work with this unit. Better let an electrician do the job.

Q: 6000w is exactly 6000w ?

niclas.internchina The manual says that the peak power is double the rated power. I have the 5000w unit just to make shure it can handle everything I plug in. I don’t really trust the rating even though this inverter is huge.

Das PEI ist schon bei Lieferung auf dem Federstahl angebracht, ein Service der nicht mal bei den teuren Platten Standard ist. Für den Sidewinder X1 muss der Endstop nicht verschoben werden nur das Bett muss neu gelevelt werden. Am Anfang am besten ganz nach unten drehen. Nach unten ist übrigens gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Mein erster Druck läuft und ich bin zufrieden.

Mein alter Druckkopf hatte schon einige Reparaturen hinter sich und der Extruder lief ruckelig. Zum Glück hatte ich den Ersatz-Druckkopf bestellt. Montage ist etwas fummelig aber nicht kompliziert. Läuft jetzt wieder alles wie am Anfang. Leider ist auch hier der Lever-Arm aus Plastik. Ich hoffe, dass nicht bald wieder etwas kaputt geht, aber ich habe ja mit meinem alten Druckkopf Ersatzteile vorrätig.

Q: Does it provide as much Amps as needed or always 5A? My setup is rated at about 10 Watts and this serves 25. I‘m afraid my components could get damaged.

All wired up and ready to go. I had to do a mod though. The switches turned on when put in the 'Up' position. That's not normal in New Zealand. These switches could not be turned around, So I flipped the lighter, Voltage and USB plugs around and mounted the whole unit upside-down to what the picture shows. Now pushing the switch down, turns it on. And the lighter, Voltage and USB plugs are at the top. Perfect!

Funktioniert super. Hab beim Aufbau vergessen ein Kabel einzustecken, aber der Support von Banggood, hat mich an den Support von Artillery verwiesen, die mir schnell eine Liste mit den möglichen Fehlerquellen und den dazugehörigen Lösungen schickten. Ich kann also sowohl den Drucker selbst, als auch den Support als sehr gut bewerten. Mit den Standard-Cura Einstellungen erhalte ich super Ergebnisse. Ich lasse nur die Brim weg und nehme stattdessen Skirt und wenn nötig füge ich Support hinzu. Der Drucker ist sehr leise, nur das traveln (Bewegungen bei denen nicht gedruckt wird) ist etwas laut. Kann man zwar lösen indem man den Travelspeed herabsetzt, dann würde der Druck aber etwas länger dauern. Ich drucke mit Creality PLA, das man für 15€ pro Rolle bekommt. Auch das Anycubic PLA hat gut funktioniert. Bin sehr zufrieden.
