Q: is it possible to connect to the camera and the internet or only work on the local network?

BogumMatt If the camera connect the internet, it can remote control via your phone. If it connects to network router, the camera couldn't controlled remotely.

Griddlockk No, this is a POV camera meant for use to show a true image. You will have to order a camera specifically designed as a "reversing camera" that is meant to show the mirror image. Or...you can always put a tiny mirror right in front of it to reverse the image, since it is a less expensive camera than a proper reversing camera.
