YolandiOosthuizen The lazer is only effective when you set the focus and have the object as close as possible to the lazer. I have engraved many items and used stilt like items that is stiff as the lazer moves on it’s x and y axis.

PieterOosthuizen Out if the box IDE will not have ESP8276 boards, google and add them first. Then once downloaded open the IDE and install the new board (ESP8266) from the boards manager tab, select from your sketch select tools, boards and select Wemos d1 mini or the lolin d1 mini clone board.

PieterOosthuizen Recommended storage temperature for solder paste is between 40°F and 50°F (4°C to 10°C). Storage at temperatures above refrigeration will reduce shelf life. I store mine in my fridge.

PieterOosthuizen Yes, not very thick as the lazer focal is roughly 12cm from edge of the lazer case. Never leave the lazer alone, and set the lazer to a low cutting power.

PieterOosthuizen Not really, as you will experience week signal. The attenuation will be positively affected which reduce signal.
