I'm shocked at how good this is for the money.. I've tried the eachine pro58 and the akk module for around the same price but this on is far superior to them both..

This was just what I was looking for. I'm using them on Eachine Ev100 goggles. I've made an 18650 battery pack that goes in my pocket and plugs in to this and I can easily check the voltage now and the on/off button is perfect.

This is pretty basic and cheaply produced. I've already pulled the solder pads of the battery terminals on one side. Cheap isn't always best.

I've had a few of these in different builds and I can't fault them, if you want an inexpensive but good quality fpv cam then you can't go wrong with this.

NGR_Robinson No, I have a 20x20 vtx in the back and that only just fits between the standoffs.

Pleasantly surprised by these.. My very first motors were the racerstar 2205's and they weren't that good so I wasn't expecting much from these but they're actually pretty good..

Q: it binds but it looses signal and cant controll the drone is this a issue ucan solve?

NGR_Robinson I don't think the range is very far as the antenna is just the small gold contact.. I've never lost signal with mine but never tried to go far.

I left this a while so I could leave a proper review after some use. Firstly I want to comment on the FOV (field of view). There's many people who have been saying the FOV is terrible and the screen is far too small, this is not the case. I have moved from the ev800 box goggles to the ev100's and the screen is obviously smaller but in no way is it any kind of bad experience. I have noticed I am able to fly more precisely especially in close proximity environments which brings me on to the next point, the screen quality. The image quality is outstanding, super clear and with the built in ipd adjustments along with the focal adjustments is fantastic, I wear glasses for reading so I was concerned on whether the focal adjustments would be enough for my eyes but it's so clear. No need for extra diopters or anything like that. The foam around the faceplate could be a bit better quality but let's remember the price of these goggles. The antenna diversity. This works OK and I did a bit of research into antenna diversity and true diversity. Antenna diversity works by the receiver waiting for the rssi value to drop to a certain level and then switches to the second antenna and kind of hopes the second antenna has a better rssi value and if not it switches back and forth until a better value is found which is OK in most cases but can cause a few minor flickers. True diversity works by the reciever constantly changing to the antenna with the highest rssi value instead of waiting for a low rssi value so there's much less chance of any flickers or blackouts. I've now fitted an external diversity module and dvr and I have been able to do it all without opening the goggles up at all, I'll be doing a video on my YouTube channel soon to demonstrate how. Overall, I am super happy with these for this price, I'd definitely recommend them.

I like this, it's great to have that uninterrupted dvr footage but the design could be better. The restrictions when first powered up are understandable but not really necessary and the led combinations for vtx power, band and channel are very vague, if you don't have your vtx information on your osd, there's actually no way of knowing exactly what channel and band you're on. You also have to remember to stop the recording after your flight by pressing the button, which actually is a bit of a pain, I keep forgetting so lose the footage, also not very good if you have a problem and crash land and lose power, you can't retrieve that footage to review it. Overall though, I'm happy with it. I'm not sure on the power draw but something damaged my flight controller when I powered this up and I had to replace my flight controller. I can't be 100% sure it was this that caused my issue but just something to be aware of.

Finally got round to building this.. The quality feel of the dys motors on top of how they look amazes me with how little they cost. I've heard stories about bad bearings and stuff but nothing like that for me.. Can't wait to get it finished and in the air.

Considering how cheap these are I was expecting poor quality, vibrations, noise but no, these are actually pretty good, they're pretty well balanced and a lot more durable than I was expecting. I've had a few crashes and not broke a single prop yet, they bend pretty easy but then just bend back and I think they look pretty cool too. Grab some cheap props with your next order. 😉
