CPOot Maybe if used outdoors only. The car goes seriously fast and could do all lot of damage. There is no way to trim down the speed on the car or remote. I would not recommend the car for a five year old. it's just to fast.

CPOot it doesn't fit in the battery bay. But it does fit under the body of the car. I just use a rubber band or 2 to keep the battery in place.

CPOot There is no software profided with the laser itself. You need to get a program like lightburn or lasergrbl. They both work fine on windows for me. I don't have a Mac so can't help you there. In lightburn both vector files as EPs work

CPOot no, I cut 3 mm plywood and that takes multiple passes. Maybe if you would go full power and really slow but you will probably just burn the MDF.
