Good value for the price but item has no instructions. If you do NOT have a basic understanding of electronics and various components I would not recommend this kit. If, however you have some level of basic electronics, i.e. resistors, capacitors, and ICs, then this kit, although a bit challenging, can be fun. Another problem with the lack of instructions is you'll have no way of knowing how to set up the various settings. There are some instructions on the Internet but you'll have to search for them. Other then what I mentioned the unit does perform very well and has many functions.

Nice unit, functions as described but course adjustment are very sensitive. Construction is easy but you should have some basic understanding of electronic components. Good quality PCB with clear markings.

Very nice power supply. Easy to build and very easy to use. I bought two (2) of them to use along side my larger bench power supply. I connected one directly to my breadboard. The only modification I made was to add an in-line ON/OFF switch so I can leave the unit plugged in. Great for breadboard applications.

Very nice unit. Works well and really looks nice other than some small smudges on the top. I printed the instructions off of the Internet rather then loading the disk.

A nice variety of sensors and modules but none of them are labeled. You'll have to search the internet and cross-reference each one and then label them yourself.

Nice little power supply. I would not recommend it to anyone without basic knowledge of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and diodes. The color code on the resistors is very difficult to see so you'll probably need a multimeter, as I did, to find correct values. A basic knowledge of soldering is also very useful. Finally, I would recommend you use a multimeter to check your units adjustable output voltage and adjust accordingly.

und1974 Thefirst reference to R48 as a 1.5k is a typo. It should show R49 as the 1.5k and, the reference to R48 on the next line, as a 10K is correct. It is a 10K.

I have Assembled 3 Of these Clocks 2 Green , 1 Blue . I really Enjoyed Assembling these Kits It Make the Time go By While Having fun .... However I never noticed That The instructions have a slight Misprint on them . On Page 2 Where the Parts are listed and the Place it shows to Install them It says that R48 is 1.5K But if you look directly Below that to the Next line It also Says R48 10K . I also Looked at the Picture part and it shows the 1.5K On R49 And I do Not see in the list where R49 Is even listed ? My suggestion Would be to go with the Picture On this part ... I also Give 5 Star on the printed Instructions They are very nicely done and easy to follow ... I have seen several videos on the build of this clock And some of them shows to install the Micro processor first . This would be a very bad mistake as it can get damaged while installing the others parts . I would install all the smaller parts first like resistors Etc. And Leave the processor for last or next to last .

und1974 Ifyou're clock is set to 24 hour clock then the AM/PM will not light because you don't need them. The AM/PM only works in 12 hour mode. There is a solder jumper where you select if you want 24 hour or 12 hour. The default is set to 24 hour with the solder jumper NOT soldered in. Look on page 10 of the instructions and you'll see the solder jumper.

It is very good kit and it is working. But I have a question is that I want to display AM/PM LED but it is not showing both LED. Can you help me how it is started.
