Ordered 11/23 Arrived 1/7 in Kansas, USA. Physical condition Good. Self test OK. Advertised as USB-C charge cable. Arrived with Micro USB cable and port. Red Charge LED light does not indicate Charging but verified 0.43A charge rate. No instructions or reference to schematic-details other than in advertisement. N7DDC board of which this is a variant, has no li-ion battery or charging circuit. So some questions unanswered and additional research is required. Positives- Good looking nicely machined case, Vivid OLED display. Fully shielded as opposed to plastic ATU's costing more money.. de W8LM.

Unit requires mounting and fusing. My application is to use on the output of my solar panel batteries to boost the battery to 13.8 required for my Ham Radio station. My current maximum will be 20A, so I will not over tax this unit, and those 20A pulls will be intermittent up to 3 minutes. Think out your installation. Since mine is emergency communications, I am additionally adding extyernally a bypass circuit in case of failure, 12V Battery straingt through instead of 13.8 is still better than nothing.

Q: Purpose of rear speaker-microphone connection?

When screwed on to an Yaesu FT-60R, the base sits above the Yaesu's SMA connector by 1/16 or more (2-3mm) gap from being flush like stock antenna. See picture

am_fm_radio I am trying to obtain a refund from Banggood. No programming information. Not 8 watts output but 2 watts. No support.

It is described as a transeptor of 8 whats power, and a range of between 2 and 8 km, I hope so be satisfied with 3 kilometers effective, for now I will start the scope tests, the first problem I see is that the manual only comes in Chinese and not in several languages, at least in English, and the radios are heard in Chinese, and not how to change it because I do not understand the language, it would take the link from the manufacturer's website to download the radio management software, and a link to the translation of the user manual at least in English

arrived unscathed, looks quality. Have not used all programming ends yet. But those I tried worked. 1st try was Baofeng and Chirp on Windowz 7 machine.

am_fm_radio The tech support is requiring a video of the problem.. The radio is not 7 watts but 2 watts. Since they have not provided "official" programming software, I can't change the power level, or channel bandwidth. The 1st thing is for the manufacturer to provide proper software, then we can test hi/low power capability. But out of the box the radio measures ONLY 2 watts.

Both channel 15 &16 - in English speaks "15". CTCSS and DCS encode/decode work just fine. wide/ narrow deviation selection makes no difference in transmit audio. un-programmed channels beep if selected. bottom button under PTT is scan function. when in scanning green receive light blinks. un-programmed transmit frequency (receive only channel) will transmit unknown frequency. manual in Chinese except for the words "recycled paper". Banggood offers no link to "official" software. So I do not know if the radio can really put out 7 watts, wide/narrow band selection or any other features. Radio will announce something along the words. "Time to charge" when battery low.

#1. arrived boxes crushed, cannot use in retail display. #2. instructions, written so small in chinglish, you have to use a magnifying glass. #3. Samsung SD 16Gb card fell out during initial check out and lost. #4. off brand SD 4Gb card has not fallen out yet. #5. rainbow stripe sticker started pealing- so I removed it. Not needed anyhow #6. Not sure if all modes work, longest record time 2-3 minutes then shutdown. #7. Purchased 3 brands for comparison, Lowest price, lowest ranking of the 3. #8. Will not offer retail at my store. #9. this review was written after evaluating unit for only 2-3 hours. So you may have better results. Personal use only is my recommendation.

if you are using a dash camera in your patrol cruiser, this cable -cigar plug allowed me to route the cable up the A pilar, behind the visors to the camera mounter behind the interior rear view mirror. So no cables cross the windshield. Plus you have 2 outlets for phone and tablet.charging..

Does what it says. In mobile operation after 4-5 years the RJ45 pulls out on original. Ham Radio stores offer this cable for almost $30.. Worked perfect on my Yaesu FT-2800M

I run a flea market electronics shop. This is the mini-USB, not the micro. Casual inspection they look alike, BUT- this is the one for CAMERA's and GARMIN GPS's . Plus they are not found at the dollar store so I can sell them at the wal*mart prices which are over priced anyhow. Remember there is MINI and MICRO...This is MINI.
