Great value for the money. You need to solder a motor socket and battery lead (not included) to the receiver. It is all very tiny and needs a very small soldering iron tip, a steady hand and good eyesight! I had problems getting it to bind at first to my DX6 radio but after several tries it eventually bound. Then the motor wouldn't arm. You have to make sure the throttle trim is right down. After binding, put the throttle stick fully up, connect power to the receiver. After a beep, lower the throttle. Motor will now work. You only have to do this once. Next time the motor will arm automatically. Remember to alway turn on the Transmitter first and then the receiver, otherwise you wil have to re bind all over again.

Q: But they are misrepresented as coreless...they are brushed and have 2 input wires. Coreless have 3 input wires. I have 2 ea of the 820 and they are brushed....

BG574816430 Coreless motors are always 2 wire DC brushed. Brushless motors have 3 wires and work on 3 phase.

Nice looking model but mine had several faults including the rudder and elevator servos being installed too far back so the push rods could not be adjusted enough to give equal deflections. I had to prise them out and glue them back in around 10mm further forward to get the correct travels. Also, you need to get the battery right to the front to achieve the CG. This involved cutting lots of foam out to enable the battery to be pushed to the nose. Finally, the canopy magnet is very weak and I had to replace it. I haven't flown it as yet but I think the prop will break after a few landings. You get a clear plastic scratch plate to protect the underside of the nose from belly landings but it never touches the ground as the 4 blade prop takes all the landing shocks. I will probably replace it with a 2 bladed prop soon.

BG574816430 Update. Model flies really well! With a 950Mah 2 S the CG is just right. needs a few clicks of up trim and a good hard throw into wind and shes away. Once flying you can neutralise the trim. Landings are best into long grass to protect the prop. If you flare too much it will tip stall. Sh'es no slouch but very stable in flight.

BG574816430 Make sure the battery is right to the nose to get the GG. Dial in some up trim and launch good and hard into wind. (None of this under arm stuff) . Mine goes away with no torque roll every time. You must give it a good straight chuck as shes a fast flyer.
