Hooked it up to a DIYMore Pro Mini Strong (Arduino pro mini clone), modified the example Adafruit NeoMatrix example sketch and everything works well. Very bright on full luminosity. Now waiting for more panels to make a tiled display...

They are buttons, they come in strips of 5 and you can break them apart if you want to. Each has a V, G, D connection so easy to use. Click feels solid so hoping they last.
