xylofoejs It has now been about 5 years since I installed the lamps in my Forester. all 4 lamps still works perfectly. and has been really nice to have. A fun fact is that it now is possible to buy a similar solutions from Subaru for new Subaru s the lamps looks the same and are installed in the same areas as i installed mine. It's now time for me to switch car. The new car will be a Toyota RAV4 hybrid. "unfortunately" the RAV4 suffer from same lack of light I the trunk and behind the car. Fortunately back in 2016 I ordered 10 of these, and still have 5 of these lamp's left for the new car which will arrive in a few weeks (is in production right now). For anyone feel they have the same problem with lack of light I the trunk I can only strongly recommend these lamps for this project. they really are good and strong. given that the lamp is the same as in 2016.

This review only covers the white version For me the purpose was/is to light up the trunk of my Subaru Forester, since the light there is really insufficient. Also the area behind the car is little bit too dark. So, two of these are supposed to be mounted on the inside of the trunk, close to the backseats (one on each side) to light up the back of the trunk, while to is to be mounted on the backdoor of the trunk on the inside. When the door is open, the light will be lighting up the area behind the car. Very convenient if you drop something in a very dark Swedish winter. To be hones I did expect to have more light coming from these panels. Maybe I expected something in the area of 1 watt or close to that. Normally a side light for a trailer is equipped with a 5 Watt blub. I my experience, the normal ration between standard blubs in real life is about 1:5 or at best 1:6 (e.g. 10 Watt bulb is close to a 2 Watt LED) At least it’s a good “rule of thumb” Did some measurements on this little LED Light. Looking at my attach picture you will find that the power consumption at 12.0 Volt is only about 200 mW, however in a car you can expect more in the area of 13.5 – 14.0 When the engine is running. At this voltage the lamp will consume between 330 mW and 400 mW. This is still about ½ and ¼ of what I would expect from such a light. So as a trailer light I don’t think it give sufficient light. However for my project, and the test I have performed on my car, these lights will give me a huge improvement, it could be better. Had the light been as powerful as I expected it would have been really really good, but still it is an ok little lamp. I cannot give this product full 5 stars, since it does not fully meet my expectation, but it is a ok light for other application than as a trailer light, especially looking at the price tag. Note for my picture: The "Light" value should only been seen as a guidance. i.e. the more current, the more light. The light value is measured with the light sensor in my phone, placed in the same fixed position for each measurement point. It should also be noted that voltage higher that 13.5 Volt will not give you more light, just more heat in the LED’s. Over time this will burn out the LED. So keeping down the current will increase the lifetime of the LED dramatically

Q: Does it support additional RCA (playback video) ?

Asked by nabiihah93 on 2019-06-26 03:19:18

xylofoejs yes it do support RDS. however, if you save a radio station, the name of the radio station is not saved on the button, which is normal practice on most radios. instead the frequency of the radio station is saved. e.g [105.5] of cause this is is a minor problem, but I my wold, not a perfect solution.
