Quetiano Theoriginal Gps is working from my personal experience, what I did was after some trial and error, I removed the gps wiring that travels under the vtx which lays on the carbon fiber frame, and allowed it to travel freely above the vtx to the gps. After a few minutes, I managed to get gps lock on 8 satellites.

Q: Does this quad come with the GPS installed and configured?

Asked by mmccaule on 2021-01-13 07:05:42

Quetiano After trial and error, I managed to get the gps to lock on to satellites, you'll have to open the quad, free the gps wires running from the flight controller to the gps which travels under the vtx, then allow the gps wires to run freely to the gps above the vtx, that allowed me to lock onto 8 satellites. Theres something about the carbon frame or vtx that affects the gps through its wires.

Q: Did anyone try it on 8s? I know it is not rated for.

Asked by Christopher on 2021-08-09 05:46:41

Quetiano You can try it by using it on an 8s, but, I suggest to use this motor for slow flight, NOT for high speed, otherwise the motor will probably burn.

Quetiano Firstly, make sure that your soldering iron is heated up...properly...you need at least 350 degrees celcius for thin wires to solder, and make sure the tip is clean, there must be no black coating or residue caused by usage previously. For the solder, use flux which you can purchase separately... apply flux to places that you are going to solder...then solder.

Q: can this be a pusher airplane motor?

Asked by BG130321116 on 2021-03-16 03:04:29

Quetiano Yes, it all depends on the prop direction and motor direction. The motor direction can be changed by swopping two of the three esc wires that is joined to the motor

Quetiano Yes you can, as long as it has a magnetometer for the quad to use.

Quetiano You can purchase one 18650 battery at your local shop or do a google search for the 18650 battery for sale in your country. In the google search results, you'll see which local shops will have stock.

OzFPVflyer Youdont need to use a connector, just solder your wires to the Vtx. 5V Cam powers the camera, GND is the ground (black wire) that goes to camera, Video (yellow wire) goes to Camera, GND and 7-26V are the power leads from either battery or power distribution board that powers the Vtx. You can see where to solder the wires just below all the writing on the vtx, dont use too much solder and dont bridge the connections. Hope this helps and its easy to do.
