Very good. It's decent chunk of metal. The feel is solid and sturdy. Sliding is smooth and measurements are accurate. The ruler is treated with a bit of oil. It comes in a pouch. The pouch is of basic construction but adequate and functional. The ruler also comes with a spare pin. This pin can be stored in the pouch. Before first use I had to clean the bar just a little for smooth sliding. And there were some minor scratches on the slider. For the price well recommended.
